Digital X-Rays
Dentists are able to get a better look at the teeth of their patients with the help of digital x-rays. Digital x-ray technology is becoming more common throughout the industry because it allows a dentist to get a more precise view of a decayed or damaged tooth. After the x-ray is taken, the image is placed in an imaging program.
Within the imaging program, tools allow the dentist to take a precise look at the teeth and surrounding structures with amazing accuracy. Digital x-rays also produce nearly 80 percent less radiation than a standard x-ray.

Panorex
Better technology means better overall care. Dentists are able to capture a complete view of the upper and lower jaws, teeth, temporomandibular joints, and sinuses by using the Panorex imaging machinery. Because the Panorex can take a 360-degree picture of the teeth, head, sinuses, and bones, dentists are able to identify issues and structures that a normal x-ray can’t.
The patient sits in a chair with their chin resting on a small ledge. The Panorex rotates around the patient’s entire head while taking a 360-degree picture. The dentist gains a tremendous amount of information by being able to view the full structure of the head. It allows the dentist to see any potential problems and make sure everything is functioning as it should.
The Panorex also is capable of viewing specific types of structural problems and infections.
Rotary Endodontics
What if root canals were painless and stress-free? OK, maybe there isn’t such a thing, but a new technology in endodontics is making the root canal experience more efficient and more comfortable for patients. Rotary endodontics involves the use of an electric-powered drill that has a nickel titanium tip that makes drilling easier because the tip is more flexible than the traditional stainless steel files.
During a root canal procedure, infected roots and nerves inside the tooth are removed. The pulp, or roots and nerves, are removed because the infection is causing pain.
Rotary endodontics utilizes an electrical handpiece that allows the dentist to perform the root canal quicker and with less discomfort for the patient.
Electric Handpiece
Less Drilling Time With Better Accuracy
Dentists are able to remove decay from teeth easier and faster than ever thanks to new advances in the electric handpiece. Dentists can now clear decay from teeth more efficiently, greatly reducing the time patients have to be in the chair before the procedure is complete.
The electric handpiece is more efficient than its air-driven predecessor because the electric motor can spin the bur much faster, allowing the dentist to clear decay with better accuracy.
